When is an activity considered solitary work?
Solitary work occurs when a person works outside the sight or hearing range of others – regardless of how long this condition lasts. Even short periods are legally relevant.
Is a free emergency call app sufficient, or do I need a certified PNA?
For activities with increased or critical risk levels, a simple emergency call app is generally not sufficient according to DGUV Rule 112-139. A compliant personal emergency signal system (PNA) must be used – RS Personal Alarm meets this requirement.

The location of individuals is hidden by default and is only shared in the event of an emergency. Movement data is collected only temporarily, processed in encrypted form, and automatically deleted once the app is closed. Employees are not monitored.
